Arun Johal

Arun graduated from the University of Manchester in July 2024 with an Upper Second-Class Law degree and joined the firm shortly afterwards for a period of work experience. Following this initial experience, he returned in a paralegal capacity and is now preparing to commence the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) at the University of Law.

Since joining the team, Arun has gained exposure to a broad range of matters and has quickly become a valued member of the department. A particular highlight to date has been attending both the hearing and judgment in the firm’s big victory against Paddy Power in February–March 2025, an experience that deepened his interest in litigation and advocacy.

Arun’s academic and professional experiences so far have confirmed a strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial dispute resolution, and he looks forward to developing this further through both the SQE and continued legal experience.

Outside of work, Arun enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through sport, and taking part in any opportunity to learn and try something new.
